IMG customers have noted that the customer service is attentive both before and during their trips, especially when they need to modify their policies. Some customers have experienced difficulties with the online claims portal and uploading documents. However, IMG has recently improved its claims process to make it more efficient and transparent for customers.
They did not reimburse everything and sent a very hard to interpret email as to why with no explanation. When I called I was given different information then the email came. I just gave up since it was only about $35 difference.

We just filed the claim last week for cancellation of trip IMG said they would assign a claim number within 3 days 3 days have passed and we have yet to hear from them will ask for your assistance if we still have not heard from them by next Monday
Our trip was canceled due to the conflict in Israel. I called IMG and asked for a refund. The representative I spoke to said it was past the date for a refund. All she could do was mail me claim forms in case I wanted to submit a claim. However, when I purchased the insurance it was plainly stated that they would not pay for conflict.
As of this date, I have not received any refunds from the Travel Agency. I have till June 1 to make a decision to get a refund, minus a $300 handling fee, or book another trip within the year. I still don't know how much money will be refunded. That depends on the refund available from the airlines and hotels.
Since IMG will not pay for conflict, (will they in this instance), I am wondering what would be the benefit of me filing a claim just to have it rejected. If I cannot get a refund (preferable) on the insurance due to circumstances beyond my control, I would like you to consider giving me a credit, should I book another trip in the future.
Everything is still up in the air.

Traveling can be stressful. Getting injured before a trip is even more stressful. I am so thankful that I had purchased trip insurance with IMG. The claims process was straightforward and I had a successful outcome. Needless to say I just purchased insurance for another upcoming trip through IMG. You never know what can happen!
