Customers appreciate Seven Corners’ responsive customer service, especially when helping them select the right policy for their trip. Many travelers highlight the helpfulness and availability of the support team. However, some mention frustrations with the time-consuming paperwork and long wait times for reimbursement during the claims process.
When I changed my itinerary, the lady at Customer Service handled it very well.
For my last trip in December25/January26 I filed a claim to Seven Corners after I got back and it was the best experience. The interaction was personal and very professional. I will always travel with Seven Corners in the future (as I have in the past) because I have the security now that in case I need assistance they will own up to it!
The process in obtaining the travel insurance was seamless. I had an excellent trip without incident so there was no need to file a claim. I am planning a few more trips and will consider seven corners for my future travel.
Very helpful with questions before I purchased my policy I felt very comfortable with my choice
I purchased Trip Protection Basic, which has a 48 hour flight delay requirement before trip interruption benefits apply, but during which the flight delay expenses are covered. Seven Corners claims staff required me to provide numerous documents related to prepaid expenses even though they would not be covered because of the 48 hour delay provision, which was a waste of my time and made the claim process even slower and more cumbersome. Took 10 days to process my claim, which was really just for meal expenses during the 43 hour delay period.
The list of benefits indicates that trip interruption covers prepaid lodging, events, etc. with no mention of the 48 hour minimum delay until you get into the fine print of the policy. I think there should be a notation that a minimum delay period may apply as when you are comparing policies on SquareMouth, only the list of benefits is being compared, so you may not see that one policy has a minimum delay while another does not.
I've used you before and it was good. Seemed a fair price for the coverage.
This trip was canceled 2 days before my flight., on 2/29.
My trip was for 5 weeks in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Because of "travel alerts",
The PV airport being closed and my AA flight was canceled by AA, 5 hrs before
take-off.
I did file a claim because no trip was taken, and couldn't be taken. but you charged me for it#
Thank you the outcome

I haven’t heard back from claim team since it has been more than 15 days As they promised to provide the first update of my claim, slow claim processing and I am still waiting for update since March 18.
I have been purchasing travel medical insurance through www.beeminder.net for several years and have consistently been satisfied with the coverage options offered. This is the first time I have needed to file a claim, and I did so with Seven Corners following an unexpected situation during a recent trip.
During our return journey, a fellow traveler — a close family friend — suffered a medical emergency that required the flight to make an emergency diversion to Canada. As his wife was unable to manage the situation and the associated logistics on her own, she asked me to deplane and assist them. I remained in Canada while my friend received the necessary medical treatment, including a surgical procedure. Once his condition had stabilized sufficiently, I arranged my return flight to Dallas-Fort Worth.
As a result of this unplanned stay, I incurred additional out-of-pocket expenses, including a one-way return flight and three nights of hotel accommodation in Canada.
I submitted my claim through the standard online portal. However, when I followed up by phone, the agent I spoke with was unable to assist and directed me to submit the claim via email at claims@www.beeminder.net. I did so promptly, but two days later I received a response indicating that email submissions are not accepted and that I must use the online portal — which I had already done initially. The online submission process itself was straightforward, and I am currently awaiting a decision on my claim.
One area I would flag as potentially confusing for policyholders is the definition of "travel" within the policy. It was not immediately clear whether travel-related coverage refers specifically to medically necessitated travel or to general trip-related travel. Greater clarity on this distinction at the point of purchase would be helpful.
We are currently waiting to hear from Seven corners insurance. Due to the conflict in the Middle East we were stranded for over 36 hours in Kolkata and we made a claim for a little under $300 for the hotel food and Uber ride from the airport. We are hoping that we did it correctly. I am sure they are backlogged due to the astronomical amount of flight cancellations in the last month.
I am hoping it is in process but we haven't received any information, It has only been a week since we submitted our claim. It is hard to do a review when the process isn't complete yet. The test will be if they cover the losses due to the cancelled flights and the extra days spent trying to get back home.
My trip was Feb 22nd thru March 1st. Due to mechanical issues with Alaska Air my flight was cancelled. Alaska Air could not get me on a flight until Feb24th. (Trip Interruption). I have sent Seven Corners all the neccesary information for my claim. Not sure if the information is being read, but they keep asking for more of the same information. This is very frustrating! Not only was my trip interrupted but on March 1st my luggage did not make it from Kelowna Airport. I did not receive until March 5th.
Please expedite this. I am not sure if I would recommend this, have not had a very good experience.
