The policy specifically hit the coverages that we potentially needed to supplement our yearly medical travel policy. Some initial problems finding the policy on the IMG website due to changing the email address for login. This was resolved after 2 contacts. We have had 3 IMG policies in the past year, all without problems.
When violence in Puerto Vallarta erupted on 2/22,I called your customer service line on 2/23 . They looked at my policy and said I had coverage if i canceled. I called again the following day and told the same thing. Yes, I understand their advice is not binding but I relied on it during a scary time.

I purchased my policy to expire on 3/6/26. My plans changed 3/4/26 when my daughter asked me to stay longer with her in Florida. I called and asked how to extend my travel date to 3/18/26. I asked if I could extend it or if I needed to purchase a new policy. I was told that I had to send a written email request to extend my policy. This all took place on 3/4/26. I received an email notice 3/13/26 that an extension was not possible because the expiration date had already passed. It had NOT passed when I made the inquiry. Not happy with this poor response time and lack if customers service.
We will have to wait and see. I submitted two claims and one appeared right away but the other took quite some time and is still not showing up on the website, though I did receive an email acknowledging receipt.
Filed a claim and got a claim number. Claim was canceled and I had to resumbit all of the paperwork.
IMG did not provide medical evacuation glight that was requested.
Long wait to find out no money refunded even though I bought insurance with trip cancellation. Got exactly zero dollars back-very disappointed.
