    I like the comparison feature on your website. I also liked being able to tailor my specific needs to a policy & only paying for what I wanted to cover.

    WorldTrips policy: Escape

    I would never purchase a policy from WorldTrips again. They were an absolute nightmare to deal with regarding our claim when we returned from our trip. We both got terribly sick during our trip and essentially submitted for Trip Interuption. The number of back and forth emails and attachments was off the charts, and there is no way to speak to anyone. Everything is done via email and when they first denied the claim, they provided no explanation as to why. When I repealed, it was finally paid but it took easily 7-8 weeks to get there. I threatened to involve Square Mouth but did not have to.

    I had delayed baggage for 48 hrs and had to buy stuff that I needed for my mom’s wake and funeral. Completed docs last Nov 23. They said wait for 30-45 days.

    Had to cancel due to death of our granddaughter. Still waiting for a death certificate to file for a refund. Did not go on the cruise. I did cancel it with Carnival, about a week before sailing.

    WorldTrips policy: Escape

    The claim went smoothly. But I wish they paid full price for all the things we had to buy during the period that our luggage were lost for 3 days. We had all the receipts. We bought only necessarily things. We did not buy anything the first 2 days until they told us that they were not sure when our bags would get there. We could have bought more but we tried to wash our clothes as much as we could. (No dryer in Italy and it rained during that time. So we had to use iron and hair dryer to dry our clothes. It was a pain.) However the representatives whom we talked to while on the trip was VERY VERY nice and helpful.
